Keep your team properly staffed without manually reviewing every request. Admins can now set a maximum number of employees who can take time off on the same day. Once that limit is reached, additional requests are automatically blocked, helping prevent understaffing and making it easier to manage team availability.

Need to update a Time Off request that overlaps a locked pay period? You now have the flexibility to approve or reject the unlocked dates without affecting finalized payroll records. Connecteam automatically splits the request, keeping locked dates unchanged while allowing you to manage upcoming time off independently.

Import and Manage Time Off Balances with More Flexibility

Setting up or updating employee Time Off balances just got easier. Admins can now import balances in bulk via a CSV file, making it easy to migrate balances from another system or update multiple employees at once. You can also enter a total balance or break it down into Carryover, Accrued, and Used amounts, with Connecteam automatically calculating the total. This gives you greater accuracy, transparency, and control without the manual work.

Automatically End Paid Breaks

No more paid breaks running longer than intended! Admins can now set an automatic action when an employee's paid break reaches its configured duration. Choose to automatically clock employees out of their shift or switch them to an unpaid break. Employees receive a notification with a quick option to clock back in, helping prevent unnecessary payroll costs and keeping timesheets accurate.

Set Specific Hours for Manual Breaks

Keep breaks on schedule and make sure they're taken at the right time. Admins can now define specific time windows during which employees can start a manual break, such as between 11 AM and 2 PM. Outside those hours, employees won't be able to start that break, helping maintain team coverage and keep daily operations running smoothly.
